After hearing a rare black fox has been sighted in Herts in spring 2012, we decided to make a limited edition of our Sleepy Fox Ring in black gold with white diamonds.
It is believed to be only the second time a black fox has been spotted in Britain. The phenomenon is normally seen in growing cubs and generally the fox will develop to have a dark chestnut coat. But a few red foxes will remain black due to a rare genetic flaw dating back hundreds of years. Only a handful of them are thought to exist in Britain.
This ring is made from 18ct white gold, set with 2mm white diamonds and plated with black ruthenium, known as black gold. We will only be making 10 pieces and each one will come with a certificate stating its unique number.

Orders outside of the UK are also available for FREE DELIVERY but will usually take 3 to 5 working days.
