The UK Jewellery Awards is the Oscars of the jewellery industry and is held annually at London’s world famous Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane. In 2008 Jana Reinhardt was selected from thousands of jewellery designers and was shortlisted for “Young Designer of the Year”. |

The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, more commonly known as the Goldsmiths’ Company, is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London and received its first royal charter in 1327. Every year the Company hosts the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Awards and receives entries from the crème de la crème of the jewellery and silversmithing talent in the UK. Jana entered her “Roller Bangle” which is fabricated from sterling silver sheet and completed with hematite beads. She was subsequently invited to Goldsmith’s Hall to receive her Silver Award in the category 3D Design - Fine Jewellery. |

The prestigious Zeichenakademie, Hanau is one of the oldest goldsmith training centers in Europe and counts amongst its alumni Christian Dell and Charles Peter Faberge. In 2007 Jana was selected along with a handful of other graduates for “producing the most outstanding work seen in nearly a decade at the academy” |

Awards achieved during studies2003 Award for best results in "Meisterprüfung"(final exams) - Jana was one of the youngest people in Germany to be granted the title of Master Goldsmith and achieved the best results in her county for this discipline 2002 Recommendation in International Jewellery Competition "Nature and Time" in Hanau - More than 720 artists from 35 countries took part in this competition and Jana's piece was one of about 100 chosen for the exhibition." 2000 Award for best results in "Gesellenprüfung" (exams at end of apprenticeship) 1998 8th prize in National Jewellery Competition for Gold-and Silversmith Trainees in Arnstadt 1997 Recommendation in Elias-Geyer- Jewellery Competition in Dresden 1996 Gold Award and Recommendation in Elias-Geyer-Jewellery Competition in Leipzig |
