Our ravishing rat ring was inspired by Jana's beloved pet rat Remmy. Every sweet little detail is captured here: soft fur, soulful eyes, perfect paws, and tiny tail twined around his resting body. Unlike a traditional rat wax seal signet ring, the ring and the tiny rat are cast separately before we assemble them. This means you can choose contrasting metals for your ring and rat, for example, a silver ring with a gold rat design. We can even set birthstones into the side of your rat/ mouse ring - one of the many benefits of buying jewellery that's made to order, just for you.
As well as adding style and rat-titude (sorry, couldn't resist!) to your look, this rat signet ring is also a conversation starter around how we treat rats. Sadly these hyper-intelligent, sociable animals are still being poisoned and viewed as vermin. We appreciate not everyone wants a resident rat, but they should be treated with compassion and respect. Because protecting our environment is important to us, we no longer offer gold plating. This process requires the use of many toxic chemicals. Instead, and where possible, we are using 100% recycled solid gold and silver. Better for us, better for the planet!
