Jaguar Charm

Small but mighty: this handmade tiny jaguar charm has a big statement to make. Part of the 'Reconnect' charm collection, our miniature big cat pendant was made to symbolise the rainforest. Jaguar means 'he who kills with one leap' and this jaguar necklace looks ready to pounce: a sleek body, prowling paws, a tiny tail, and a handsome detailed face... Jana has even included his trademark markings when she painstakingly carved this beautiful big cat charm. 

More than 20% of the Amazon rainforest has already been destroyed, with an estimated 200,000 acres burned every day. Largely to make space to graze cattle and grow maize and soy to feed the billions of farmed pigs and chickens. This little jaguar pendant reminds us that the destruction of the rainforest brings with it the loss of thousands of animal and plant species, including the jaguar. Jaguar numbers have dwindled to just 173,000, many of which are found in the Amazon rainforest.

Because protecting our environment is important to us, we no longer offer gold plating. This process requires the use of many toxic chemicals. Instead, and where possible, we are using 100% recycled solid gold and silver. Better for us, better for the planet!
