At Jana Reinhardt we like to put the planet first, so for every piece of jewellery sold, we’ll plant a tree with Ecologi. This means that when you buy something from us, we’re taking steps to offset the carbon created when we make your jewellery and ship it to you. Making our business greener is a priority for us because the climate emergency has never been more urgent.

The sheer scale of climate change can feel overwhelming, but we feel it’s important to start taking positive action - however small those steps may seem in the face of such a huge issue. Every tree planted by Ecologi helps to reduce carbon pollution. Trees absorb carbon dioxide through photosynthesis and produce oxygen. The more trees we have, the more greenhouse gas they can absorb from our atmosphere. Reforesting is also crucial to protect and restore wildlife habitats and prevent more animal and plant species from being lost forever.

Ecologi isn’t just about offsetting carbon, their work goes so much further. They fund climate projects across the globe, creating employment for local people in Chile, India, Thailand, Brazil, and many other places.
