Fish Necklace

Fabulous Fish Collection

It’s oh-fish-ial; this fabulous fish necklace should be top of everyone’s jewellery wishlist. Handmade at our seaside studio, it features an intricately carved koi carp, forever blowing pretty pearl bubbles. You can just imagine this little fishy weaving through the water with a flick of their finely detailed fins and tiny tail. Jana has even captured the detailed scales and sweet little fishy face perfectly.
Part of our fish jewellery collection, this fish pendant celebrates fish and their extraordinary abilities. Did you know that most fish are tetrachromatic? This means they see colour more vividly than humans!
Calling someone a ‘cold fish’ is very unfair on fish, because they’re anything but unfeeling. Fish are capable of social interactions, show affection by rubbing against each other, and actually chat together, using a range of low-frequency sounds. There’s so much more to fish than we understand, and they deserve the same respect we do.
Like all our jewellery, this koi necklace is available in a range of precious recycled precious metals. So whether you’ve cast your net for a silver fish necklace, or a glorious gold fish pendant, we’ve got something for you.
The pearls on this necklace are synthetic. This is because the processes involved in creating cultured pearls contribute to the destruction of natural pearl oyster beds and are not humane. You can read more here. And don’t worry, we only use the loveliest synthetic pearls - with all the charm and luminescence of the real thing, and no damaging side effect
