Summer's gone but you can still bask in the warm glow of our sapphire set sun ring!

We've been enjoying the last days of summer this week with doors and windows wide open in our seaside studio, shorts and flip flops and Absolute 80's. We had the hottest September day in over 100 years a couple of days ago, but all of a sudden autumn came and I'm wrapped up in a blanket today, listening to the wind howling outside.
I can't help but feel a bit sad that summer is already over again. It always feels as if we've been waiting forever for these few hot days to arrive, then you blink and they're gone again. If you feel the same as me and don't want to let summer slip away just yet, you could decorate yourself with some sunny pieces from our new Out of Africa jewellery collection. Our sun ear studs and sun ring are set with sparkling little orange sapphires and look amazing in yellow gold or rose gold vermeil.
Here are some of my design inspirations for our new Africa jewellery collection.
Other jewellery that work quite well in bringing back that summer feeling are our snake threader earrings and snake necklace. They somehow make me think of ancient Egypt and I can picture a pair of these adorning the royal ears of Cleopatra as she sits upon a desert throne whilst muscled slaves fan her with giant palm fronds!
Like all our jewellery, they are handmade in our Worthing workshop, from start to finish. If you wish, you can have most of our snake jewellery set with black diamonds in the eyes. Ross is doing all our stone setting in-house now, with his fancy new microscope, so just say the word! :)
Snakes are all the rage this year. I especially love Gucci's embroided snakes on jeans and dresses. Here are some of my favourite snake jewellery and clothes.
If, on the other hand, you're quite looking forward to the colder cosy autumn days, fear not! We have plenty of enchanting pieces of jewellery to snuggle up with, like these little sleepy fox ear studs or our hibernating hedgehog necklace. They look great with a thick knitted cardigan and a pair of boots. Get some inspiration from our "Sweet Dreams" Pinterest board.
