Tree Charm

Sadly in real life, many trees don't make it to old age, numbers are declining rapidly due to drought, pollution and pests. And around the world, 15 billion trees are lost every year to deforestation. 

Wear this leafy tree charm to show you're a proud treehugger, or as a conversation starter about plant-based diets. If everyone stopped eating meat, we'd only need to grow enough crops to feed 8 billion people, rather than the 70 billion farmed animals we currently have to provide for. This huge drop would give our forests and soils the chance of recovery. 

A couple of years ago we signed up to Ecology and since then a tree is being planted for every sale here through our website. You can see how many trees we've planted with Ecologi here. Alongside this, we only use plastic-free packaging and, like all our pieces, our tree jewellery is made from 100% recycled precious metals. This means whether you opt for a silver tree of life charm or gold tree charm, you can feel reassured it won't have an environmental impact. Your gold or silver tree charm can be worn alone, or alongside the other charms in the Reconnect collection - either way, it will make a statement in more ways than one. 

Because protecting our environment is important to us, we no longer offer gold plating. This process requires the use of many toxic chemicals. Instead, and where possible, we are using 100% recycled solid gold and silver. Better for us, better for the planet!
